DECA
DECA is a nationally recognized student organization that prepares high school students for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. Through hands-on learning, competitive events, leadership development, and community involvement, DECA empowers students to become academically prepared, community-oriented, professionally responsible, and experienced leaders.
As a member of DECA, students have the opportunity to:
- Compete in regional, state, and international business competitions
- Develop real-world skills in areas such as business strategy, public speaking, and project management
- Network with peers and professionals across the country
- Participate in leadership conferences and career development events

Want to join NCHS DECA? The membership and application information is provided the first two weeks of September. We meet weekly on Tuesdays at 7:00am. Practice sessions are held throughout the week and vary.
